The Dog Days of Summer event continues every Monday through Thursday (depending on availability) at Log Haven this August. Escape the heat from the valley floor with your best friend, your dog, to Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon. You and your well behaved canine will be seated in our spectacular outdoor amphitheater, where you can order from Log Haven’s seasonal menu and your pooch can relax in the cool grass with a fresh bowl of water and doggie treats, compliments of Log Haven.

Enjoy one of our special Dog Days Drinks such as the Irish Setter Coffee or the Salty Chihuahua, a cocktail made from a special blend of grapefruit juice, Anejo Tequila and Agave nectar. Or choose to enhance your dinner (and your good karma) with either Rosenblum Chateau Le Paws "Cotes Du Blanc" or "Cotes du Bone Roan", limited time selections. Know that when you purchase a bottle of Chateau La Paws, a portion of your purchase is donated through Rosenblum to charities that bring together animals and people with disabilities.

Dog Days Of Summer Limited Time Drink Recipes

Salty Chihuahua

1Shot Vodka
1/2 shot Gold Tequila
tsp. Agave Nectar
Grapefruit juice

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice, shake. Salt rim of Collins glass, fill with ice, pour mixture into glass. Garnish with twist of grapefruit zest.

Irish Setter Coffee

Shot Irish Whiskey
Sugar Cube
Coffee
Loose whipped cream flavored with Gran Marnier
Orange Zest

Put sugar cube and shot of whiskey in Irish Coffee glass. Add a little coffee, stir until sugar cube begins to dissolve. Add more coffee to one half inch below rim. Pour flavored whipped cream into drink, to the rim. Top with orange zest.
